I’ve worked and participated in so many aspects of the fitness industry and at both ends of the spectrum, from CrossFit to Yoga. I like to approach each person in a very holistic way, understanding that we are all different and there is no one way to approach fitness. I also have a background in nutrition. I love working one-on-one with people to help them see their potential. My yoga background has taught me the importance of a good balance between strength and flexibility. Along with Personal Training sessions, I am also available for private yoga sessions or a combination of the two, and i want you to know that there is a difference between, “Yoga Heidi” and “Fitness Heidi”.
I believe that our bodies were made to move and fitness should be enjoyable. Fitness should be about keeping our bodies moving and healthy so that we can do things we love to do better. It should be about having quality of life. I want everyone to see how awesome they are and that it is more about what you can do than the number on the scale; although, if weight loss is a goal, I can effectively help you meet those goals as well, in a realistic, sustainable way.
