Kathy Engstrom has an extensive background in Fitness, working with a wide variety of clients for many years. Kathy works on better overall strength and energy through both exercise and nutrition, and enjoys working with clients who have health limitations. She continues to take courses in Nutrition and Health, and applies this in her Personal Training. Kathy has been certified as a Personal Trainer through A.C.E for many years, as well as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the BioMechanics Method.
Kathy uses a variety of methods to create individual programs for her clients, incorporating weights, cardiovascular and body weight exercises to help her clients progress and achieve their goals. She has found that increasing her own fitness level through these same methods, plus good nutrition, helps both her and her clients reap the benefits of a healthy life every day.
Kathy’s philosophy is based on her experience that anyone can improve their fitness, no matter where they are starting from. She believes that with good work comes good results, and that a positive attitude and a willingness to make fun out of work is an important key to success.
